Since 1969, the generosity of individuals, foundations, corporations, and civic and religious organizations has enabled the Bridge to respond to the changing human service needs of the Greater Hartford community.
Your gift will touch the lives of youths in crisis or at risk and help provide programs and counseling to enable them to make positive life choices. Eighty-eight cents of every dollar we receive goes directly to work with young people and their families.
You may give to our annual
Friendship Campaign, which supports current programs and allows the Bridge to provide critical services meeting new or emerging community needs. Friendship donations also support our rapid response to commmunity emergencies with appropriate psychological and emotional intervention in the immediate and short-term aftermath of traumatic incidents such as teen suicides or disasters. Gifts to the Friendship Campaign can also be made through your
workplace giving campaign.
You may wish to make a longer-term gift for endowment to ensure the Bridge's future for many years to come. The Bridge maintains an
endowment fund, The Bridge Family Center Fund, at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
Both outright and planned gifts, such as bequests, are suitable for the Fund.
In addition to your
financial support, you can help by donating
goods and services,
volunteering your own services or providing
event support. We welcome your help more than ever as our programming evolves to meet the needs and challenges facing children, youth, and families today.
