Circle of Security® ParentingTM Program
The Circle of Security Parenting Program is a 8-week researched-based program that supports and strengthens a parent/caregiver’s ability to understand a child’s emotional needs and how best to respond and support those needs.

Positive Discipline
A Program for Parents and Caregivers of toddlers to children 10 years old
This six week course of experiential activities and discussions will help you:
• See challenging behavior as an opportunity to teach your children valuable social and life skills
• Learn about the five criteria for positive discipline
• Set up family meetings
• Understand the difference between encouragement and praise and much more
Program facilitated by Kim Townsend, FRC Parent Educator, in the Family Resource Center at Charter Oak International Academy, West Hartford. Childcare provided for children 2 and up.
Classes will be held on Friday mornings, 9:30 am – 11:00 am beginning September 20, 2024.
There is a $10.00 fee for the program and registration is required.
